St Michaels Healing Sanctuary

St Michaels Healing Sanctuary was opened & dedicated on 16th June 1962 as a Christian Spiritualist Church. Like many other Spiritualist centres, it had started life in local rooms, and in Yardley meetings were originally held in a room above the local Co-Operative Society while members raised funds to secure their own premises.

A loan was taken out, and subsequently repayed. In 1971 trustees were appointed and over the years new trustees have been appointed.

A Deed of Trust was made, and in 1987 the church was able to create more room by making variouse alterations. An extension was built, and much work has since been done to improve and refurbish the building.
